Very small components with stable dimensional accuracy and repeatable quality for precision mechanical applications.
Betech manufactures turned precision components from Ø 1 mm for applications where dimensional accuracy, concentricity and surface quality directly affect end-product performance. Production is designed for stable serial output and repeatable quality throughout long production runs.
Standardised tooling and fixed process parameters help ensure that critical characteristics consistently remain within specification. This keeps components interchangeable within existing assemblies and automated assembly processes.
Typical parts include locating pins, couplings, needle holders, set screws and precision mechanical components for measuring equipment and precision instruments.
Key points:
Fully automated production with data-driven process control, focused on predictable quality and consistent delivery reliability.
Within precision mechanical assemblies, even minimal deviations can directly affect fit, positioning and wear behaviour.
Betech monitors critical characteristics using digital measuring equipment and controlled production processes. Dimensional accuracy therefore remains stable across long production series and different production batches.
Traceability runs from raw material to finished product, including measurement reports and material certificates for each batch. Production data remains available for repeat orders.
Technical assurances:
Fully automated production with data-driven process control, focused on predictable quality and reliable delivery performance.
Micro turning requires stable process control for small diameters, critical tolerances and long production runs. Betech Mass Turning continuously invests in automated high-tech production lines and inline measurement systems.
Production data is continuously collected and analysed to optimise processes and maintain consistent dimensional accuracy throughout longer series. Deviations are detected at an early stage to preserve process stability.
The production environment is designed for 24/7 serial production, including unmanned overnight manufacturing for stable output and predictable lead times.
European raw materials, circular processes and more than 55% self-generated energy through solar fields.
Betech operates on a circular and energy-efficient production model in which raw materials, energy and cooling fluids are reused as much as possible.
With the investment in a 1 MWh industrial battery system, generated solar energy can be stored and used for unmanned overnight production.
Sustainability measures in figures:
By combining full production in the Netherlands with exclusively European raw materials, Betech provides supply security within the EU, independent of geopolitical risks or import restrictions.
Cpk > 1.67 | 250,000+ components produced
A project in which Betech produced more than 250,000 brass micro components for an optical measuring instrument. By applying Swiss-type turning technology, SPC-controlled process monitoring and complete machining in a single setup, stable dimensional accuracy was achieved throughout long production runs, with direct integration into the assembly process.
For a manufacturer of optical measuring instruments, Betech produced brass micro components used as conductive contact pins within a sensor module. The parts required tight tolerances (Ø1.4 mm ±0.006 mm), controlled surface roughness (Ra < 0.4 µm) and repeatable dimensional accuracy throughout long production runs.
Production was set up using Swiss-type turning technology, SPC-controlled process monitoring and complete machining in a single setup. This ensured that the positional accuracy of critical characteristics remained stable during serial production.
Each batch was manufactured under controlled conditions with inline measurements and 24/7 automated production. Serial numbering, batch traceability, measurement reports and material certificates were applied where required.
Result: More than 250,000 components produced with stable dimensional accuracy, minimal rejection during assembly and direct integration into automated assembly processes.
Through innovative production methods, the labor value added per product remains exceptionally low, enabling internationally competitive pricing.

Achievable tolerances depend on material, geometry, wall thickness and production volume. Within precision micro turning, Betech manufactures components with tolerances up to ±0.005 mm, including runout and concentricity control where required.
For small diameters, clamping conditions, heat generation and tool wear also affect repeatability. Production is therefore set up using fixed process parameters, standardised tooling and SPC-controlled quality monitoring.
Betech manufactures precision turned parts from Ø 1 mm, depending on geometry, material type and the functional requirements of the component.
For very small diameters, factors such as clamping conditions, heat generation and material behaviour directly affect dimensional stability and surface quality. Tooling, cutting parameters and process control are therefore optimised for stable serial production of micro components.
Betech processes a wide range of materials for precision mechanical applications, including stainless steel 303, stainless steel 316L, brass, aluminium and titanium.
Material selection is based on machinability, corrosion resistance and the functional application of the component. The production process, tooling and machining strategy are then adapted to the characteristics of each material type and the required dimensional and surface quality.
Yes. Depending on the application, Betech provides measurement reports, batch registration and material certificates for traceability of material and production batches within the supply chain.
Critical characteristics can be monitored through inline measurements, SPC-controlled process monitoring and additional final inspections. Measurement results are documented in accordance with customer quality requirements and application standards.
