European raw materials and energy-independent production form the foundation for continuity, reliable supply and strategic independence within Europe.
Betech Mass Turning operates within a circular and energy-efficient production environment, where raw materials, energy and cooling fluids are reused as much as possible. More than 55% of total energy consumption is generated through the company’s own solar fields.
Following a recent investment in a 1 MWh industrial battery system, this energy can now be stored and used during unmanned overnight production.
Sustainability measures in numbers
By combining full production in the Netherlands with exclusively European raw materials, Betech provides reliable supply within the EU, independent of geopolitical risks or import restrictions.
Fully automated production with data-driven process control, focused on predictable quality and consistent delivery reliability.
Betech Mass Turning continuously invests in fully automated high-tech production lines, inline measurement systems, and data-driven process control.
SPC-driven process analyses continuously monitor critical characteristics during production, allowing deviations to be identified at an early stage while maintaining process stability.
Production operations, including 90 CNC turning machines, run fully automated 24/7, including unmanned overnight production.
Each production series is monitored through a closed-loop measurement system that continuously records process data to support process optimisation and repeatable precision.
Process control, traceability and production redundancy ensure consistent serial production and minimal supply chain risks within machine building applications.
The production processes at Betech Mass Turning are designed for repeatable quality and stable serial output within long-term machine building programmes. Critical dimensions are monitored through SPC-driven process control, while full traceability is maintained from raw material to finished product.
Technical assurances
Digital process control and standardised documentation structures support repeatable serial production.
In co-engineering projects, Betech Mass Turning aligns with customer-specific documentation and validation formats. Process data and tooling information remain available throughout the full product lifecycle, supporting repeatable serial production. Short communication lines and clear reporting ensure transparency and reliability.
Betech operates with a digital production and data platform that provides insight into order progress, measurement data, material status, and SPC data for every production run.
Through the Smart Industry Platform, production progress, measurement data, and material status are available in real time. Digital data exchange can be integrated into existing ERP and production planning systems.
Betech works according to international quality and environmental standards and adapts to sector-specific requirements within machine building and related industries on a project basis.
Supported standards and methodologies include:
Certifications and recognitions:
ISO 9001:2015 | ISO 14001:2015 | TÜV NEN-EN 1090 | Lloyd’s Register | LRQA Gold Member
Cpk > 1.67 | Delivery reliability: 98.74%
For a Dutch machine builder, Betech Mass Turning produced 35,000 hydraulic fittings and valve components for hydraulic steering and pipeline systems.
For a manufacturer of hydraulic steering valves and pipeline systems in the agricultural and food machinery sector, Betech produced fittings and valve components for use in hydraulic circuits. The components required a precise seat diameter, a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 µm on sealing surfaces and leak tightness at 250 bar as acceptance criteria.
Production was set up with SPC-driven process monitoring and a Cpk ≥ 1.67 on critical dimensions. Components were manufactured from 1.4305 stainless steel and 11SMn30 free-cutting steel, including EN 10204 type 3.1 material certification and heat number traceability at both batch and product level. After a pilot run of 500 units per part number, including a complete FAI report, serial production was approved without additional validation rounds.
Result: Cpk 1.81 on the functional seat diameter. The qualification process was completed within six weeks, followed by a three-year framework agreement with an indexation clause linked to the ECB steel reference.
Through innovative production methods, the labor value added per product remains exceptionally low, enabling internationally competitive pricing.

Betech Mass Turning works with SPC-driven process monitoring, where critical dimensions are checked in real time during every production run. Deviations are detected at an early stage, ensuring dimensional stability and process consistency, including during 24/7 unmanned production.
For critical characteristics, a Cpk ≥ 1.67 is maintained and documented in batch records and measurement reports. A closed-loop measurement system continuously records process data to support traceability and repeatable serial production.
Betech Mass Turning supplies an EN 10204 type 3.1 material certificate with heat number traceability, measurement reports for critical characteristics, and a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for each batch.
Additional documentation such as PPAP levels 1 to 4, FAI, P-FMEA, Control Plans, MSA studies, and RoHS & REACH declarations is available on request. Reports and measurement data can be delivered digitally in PDF, CSV, or through integrations with existing quality management systems.
Yes. Betech Mass Turning links heat number traceability to both batch and product level, ensuring full traceability of material origin and production data from raw material to finished product.
The production file includes material certificates, measurement reports and batch documentation. In addition, production and material data are available to support Scope 3 reporting within OEM supply chains.
