Very small components with stable dimensioning and repeatable quality for dental applications.
Betech produces small, accurate components for dental instruments and equipment. Production focuses on consistent dimensioning, a high level of finishing and stable quality within series production.
Dental applications require extremely tight tolerances and surface roughness values below Ra 0.1. Through standardised processes and continuous SPC monitoring, dimensioning remains consistent, even across longer production runs.
With experience in miniature turning and controlled surface roughness, Betech is a partner for OEMs and suppliers in implantology, orthodontics and dental equipment.
Key points
Controlled finishing, cleaning and full traceability for dental components.
Parts are produced from materials such as stainless steel 316L and 304, titanium and aluminium. Post-processing and cleaning are carried out through established partners, aligned with the requirements of the application.
Critical characteristics are inspected using measuring equipment and SPC analysis. Each batch is delivered with measurement reports and material certificates.
For dental applications, cleanliness is essential. Parts are cleaned to cleanroom grade and packed in protective trays or vacuum foil, ensuring they are clean and ready for direct assembly.
Traceability is available down to batch or serial level, including marking or labelling where required.
Typical parts
CPK > 1.67 | Reject rate: 0%
A project in which Betech produced over 80,000 titanium microcomponents for a modular dental instrument. Through standardised series production, SPC monitoring and cleanroom packaging, consistent dimensioning was achieved with zero rejection and parts ready for direct assembly.
For a manufacturer of dental precision instruments, Betech produced titanium microcomponents functioning as couplings within modular hand instruments. The parts required micron-accurate tolerances (Ø 2.1 mm ±0.008 mm), controlled surface roughness (Ra < 0.2 µm) and full reproducibility across large production runs.
Production was set up for stable series output with SPC-driven process monitoring and a Cpk ≥ 1.67 on critical characteristics. Parts were manufactured from titanium Grade 5 (EN 10204-3.1 certified), with tooling and process parameters optimised to minimise distortion and ensure consistent finishing.
Each batch was produced under controlled conditions with inline measurements and 24/7 production. After machining, parts were cleaned to cleanroom grade (ultrasonic and vapour degreasing) and packed in antistatic trays. Serial numbering and batch traceability were applied where required, including measurement reports and material certificates per batch.
Result: 0% rejection at incoming inspection and assembly, full delivery reliability and direct integration into the final product without post-processing.
Through innovative production methods, the labor value added per product remains exceptionally low, enabling internationally competitive pricing.

We have listed the most frequently asked questions to help you move forward quickly.
Yes. We monitor process capability with SPC and carry out preventive maintenance on tooling. This keeps dimensioning consistent, even across long production runs.
Yes. We record these requirements in the control plan and inspect them 100% where necessary. Deviations are detected in real time via inline measurements.
Yes, this is carried out in-house. Serial numbers, batch codes or logos can be laser engraved for full traceability.
